Survey: Who was the worst?

1.) Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus with a kiss and hanged himself in the end?





2.) Adolf Hitler who began his career in a Catholic school wanting to become a priest, and yet he gave birth to the hell that was the Holocaust and shot himself in the end?





3.) or was it Joseph Stalin who murdered 30 MILLION Russians?

Survey: Who was the worst?
Tough call. It's either Hitler or Stalin. Had both men lived they would have cost more people their lives. And Stalin had the lovely little habit of writing himself into historical events he was never present for, then writing out folks who were present but had become his political rivals. There's tons of photos of events from around the time of the Russian Revolution and just after where Stalin wasn't even there for the event, but we see the photographic evidence claiming otherwise. And at the same time there are also tons of photos where he's had people edited out. But then there's the case of Hitler and his own editing, something I didn't know of until recently. I just recently saw a documentary on Hitler's family and one of the things it talked about was Hitler going through his personal life and eliminating traces of his relations with certain individuals in his own family tree.





Then you've got the killings. As I already said, had both men lived more people would have died. Neither one was an angel. Stalin went after anyone he saw as a threat of any kind, particulary to himself and his power. With Hitler, you might have been more likely to live as long as you fit into a certain group. And even there you'd never know when he might stab you in the back.

In Matthew 27:3-5, the scripture tell us at least Judas realized the evil he committed then had remorse for his betrayal.





"Then Judas, His betrayer, seeing that He had been condemned, was remorseful and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, saying, "I have sinned by betraying innocent blood." And they said, "What is that to us? You see to it!" Then he threw down the pieces of silver in the temple and departed, and went and hanged himself."





Both Adolph Hitler and Joseph Stalin believed in their causes until their deaths. They went to their graves unrepentant.
