Anyone had success with Internet work-from-home careers? No surveys....already tried that.?

Only on ebay. But you have to have something to sell. I sold all my old junk text books kitchen stuff old video games I even sold an empty game box one time for $5. I have two kids I sell thier old cloths on ebay. but when you run out of stuff to sell its hard for the average person. I still find good deals on stuff at thrift shops and flea markets that get good resale but not on a large scale.

Anything you want to do is going to require an investment. But you should never feel like a job is trying to sell you something you want to make money not spend it. If you are going to invest find a manufacture you trust and a product you know like calvin cline jean company or something. buy a small lot of clothes or video games or whatever directly from the manufacture and sale it on line. on ebay is a good start and if it goes well get your own web page and keep all the money.

Dont go through a site that claims they can hook you up with the right people. start your own buisness and run it your own way. start small and build on it. Good luck with that

Reply:I tried 4 different things before I finally settled for one and have a great passion for, and it's International! See my profile though because Yahoo doesn't like for us to relay links. Good Luck!
Reply:yes I take surveys and I get paid you just don't know to what company to sign up to I tried over 100 companies and found the best ones and I take on-line surveys on a daily basis and I get paid cash some of the survey companies I signed up to don't require me to have a minimum to cash out my money and the companies that I use are part of the BBB. not every survey company is legit so I suggest to everyone out there don't be naive don't sign up to every survey company out there do some research on the survey company.

and if anyone want to know which survey companies I tried that are legit and free to join that actually pay cash then email me at

Reply:None that were respectable. The web-cam thing went well for awhile but......
Reply:I for one have tried them all. I even paid some of the companies to work for them at first thinking they can't ALL be scams.

Like the others said, the only one that can be profitable is Ebay for the most part. My wife goes to yard sales and buys stuff from people for dirt cheap then resells it on ebay. We have found that baby items are the best reselling items that can be picked up for pretty cheap.

Stay away from RARE Collectible items....

I am sure there are some other sites that you can make money from but I am also sure that they will not be consistent.

Reply:I do ebay, and it works but you really have to work at it (as in maintaining stock/supplies/product)

Find yourself an wholesalers, buy some products, add your retail price to top off so that you can cover your expenses and also monitor your competition to see how they're selling, then sell away!
Reply:Well, you'll probably get a lot of responses from all those people who are working at home and earning millions and have time to waste on Yahoo answers. If you are unable to work outside the home for medical reasons, you need to look into disability. If you think you can earn a lot of money and just hang out you're wasting your time. If you don't want to work, accept that you won't make money.
