The realy difference between Commercial Quantity Surveying and Quantity surveying at Northumbria Uni?

Hey,

I got accepted to study Commercial Quantity Surveying at Northumbria Uni through clearing. My first choice had been Quantity Surveying however I was short on points, I asked the admissions person what was the difference between the two courses and they told me not much and that my career prospects shouldn't really be affected. However, before I commit myself to 4 years and lots of debt I need to know if you guys can see any pitfalls in the course ie if it turns out to be a crap course I think I'll just cancel my place and take a year out to fully think things through.

These are the links for the two courses, http://northumbria.ac.uk/?view=CourseDet...

Thanks for your time

the Quantity surveying course is RICS (royal institute of chartered surveyers) accredited, which means you are exempted from some of the exams you need to take to become a chartered surveyor, and the course you have been accepted onto is not. however there are only a few in the country that are RICS accredited, so its not going to affect you a great deal i shouldn't think. xox
