1.Yes. My husband and I still watch her movies sometimes on AMC


2.Yes. She went into politics. She actually doesn't like to talk about her acting career. She really just wants people to follow her political aspirations.

Reply:Yes I know who she is. She starred in 40+ movies. After her acting career she got into politics and became a diplomat when she married her husband Charles Black.
Reply:I SAW her in a movie called heidi--and bright eyes----my mother thinks she is THE best child acrtess ever.. BUT went on to be a writer after her child hood acting. SHe is currently a live and working on her second AUTOBIOGRAPHY. IN 1999 she was voted 18th of the top actresses before 1950 from American film.

Reply:1. Yes. She was a tap dancer/singer from the 1920's and 1930's. One of the first real child stars.


2. When she stopped acting, she got married and moved out west somewhere. She started to write books, and do charity work. She's in her late 70's now. I think her name now is Shirley Temple Black.

She played in many roles ...most of them included the loss of one parent or divorce issues. She had her hair tied up with 50 rags each day in order to get her curls just so.





Her acting career ended shortly after her teenage years. She later got married and became Shirley Temple Black.


I believe she went into politics. Something about an ambassador. I am unsure if it was her or her husband.


After that we have not heard that much about her.





However, I still have many of her early films on VHS and still enjoy her movies. Best of luck with your paper.

She became a congresswoman - her name is Shirley Temple Black now. I don't know if she's still in office, she's probably pretty old - but I always admired her having two very successful careers.

Reply:She was a popular child actress. She sang and danced and charmed the audience.


She married Charles Black and lives in California around Atherton.


At one time she did interior decorating.


She served as an Ambassador to Africa (I think)
Reply:Yes ofcourse I know who Shirley Temple is! She was a very popular child star many years ago. She made TONS of black and white movies that are still fairly popular today. Heidi and The Little Princess are ones that I've watched recently. My 6 year old daughter loves her movies.





Now she is Shirley Temple Black. As an adult, she was an ambassador at the United Nations. I don't know what she's doing now though... I figure she's in her 80's?
