yesterday in class we took a career choice survey quiz thing and i got an A in being an artist but i really want to be in graphic design but should i take a art class so i can be better in graphic design but im only in eighth grade so i have plenty of time

If you truly love art, work to get into an art-related field. Graphic design is considered an artistic career if that's what you want to do.





Keep in mind that you're still very young and have ample time to explore your choices or change your mind. Good luck!

Reply:your never to young to start learning something, and if you want to go into the graphic artist side of things, you need to be able to draw first, before you can create things on a computer. also important that you know your basic about colour and design, so its always an advantage to get a drawing / painting background.
Reply:if you think your too young to begin art classes you have a very weak mentality. so if you love art take them and keep your ambitions high...
Reply:Why not combine both. Graphic design or art is in my opinion no conflict. There are many things in Graphic design which are for artists. Be an Illustrator or a Book designer it is of course usefully to know some basics.

Reply:haha, i am in 8th grade too, and we went to driveofyourlife.org and it is for indiana schools, and it shows what your personality shows what you should do, and i think the only reason why they do this for us is we know what to do in high school, and i am into graphic design, but i am also doing art in highschool so i have some variety! i would love to design pretty much anything!!!
